I dropped it off near my work, and it was actually way easier than I expected.

"Notifications could’ve been useful, in theory"
DHL did get my parcel to me in the end, so I guess credit where it’s due. The delivery itself was fine, but the updates were a bit of a mess, which is impressive for a system that’s supposed to make things easier.

I got a text saying the parcel was on its way, and then apparently everyone just went silent for hours. The tracking page updated late, and sometimes it didn’t even match what the email said, so I had the fun little task of checking everything myself.

The package arrived the next day, so it wasn’t exactly a disaster. Still, if notifications are meant to keep customers informed, it would be lovely if they were actually clear and on time.

"Tracking updates are all over the place"
The tracking barely updates for days, and then out of nowhere it suddenly changes like the package teleported. It’s frustrating when you’re trying to figure out where your order is, especially if you’re waiting around for it. I know shipping can be weird sometimes, even my weather app can’t get things right half the time, but it would be nice to have more regular updates instead of just sitting there wondering.

I was a bit frustrated at first because the refund took longer than I expected, and I started wondering if I’d have to keep chasing it. But then it finally showed up, and I was relieved. Not the fastest process, but I did get it in the end.

I was trying to track my package and change the delivery on dhl.com, and it was way more frustrating than I expected. In my head, I always assume a big company like DHL will have a site where you just log in, click the obvious button, and get it done. Not really the case here. Some pages were slow, and the login kept looping me around like I was missing something. The tracking info was there, so it technically works, but finding the actual options I needed took too much guessing. I ended up just clicking whatever looked closest and hoping it was right. It got the job done, but it definitely doesn’t feel user friendly

I’ve used DHL a few times for domestic deliveries, and to be fair, most of my parcels did show up on time. The tracking was easy enough to follow, so at least I wasn’t left completely guessing. Of course, with my luck, one delivery arrived later than expected, which was annoying, but I guess it could’ve been worse. Overall, it’s been reliable for sending things within the country.

Shipping went smoothly and I didn’t really have any issues with that part, but I was a bit frustrated that the full cost wasn’t super clear upfront. It wasn’t a terrible experience by any means, I just wish the pricing had been easier to see before getting further along.

"Not the best first impression"
My first impression wasn’t great. DHL was okay in the end, but the delivery attempt was confusing. I was home for most of the day and somehow still ended up with a missed delivery notice, which was really annoying. The tracking updated later, but it barely explained anything, so I was left guessing what happened. Rebooking wasn’t difficult, but it still took extra time I didn’t plan on. The package arrived fine eventually, so it wasn’t a disaster, just not a great experience...

DHL said my parcel was delivered and even had “proof,” so I’m looking at the photo thinking, wait… that is definitely not my door. Then I checked the signature name and it made even less sense. For a minute I thought, great, now I have to figure out where my package disappeared to.

I did end up getting it later from a neighbor, thankfully, so it wasn’t a total disaster. But the delivery proof was just wrong, and support took longer than I expected to respond. Not the worst experience ever, but annoying.

"Filing a claim was way more frustrating than it should’ve been"
I had a package arrive damaged, so I tried to file a claim through DHL, and the whole process was a mess. The form kept asking me for the same information over and over, and after I submitted everything, I didn’t get any clear update for days.

When I reached out to support, the replies felt like copy-and-paste messages, and no one really seemed willing to help or take ownership. I still haven’t received a refund or even a straight answer, and the whole experience just left me feeling ignored and really frustrated...

"Really professional courier"
I had a delivery come through DHL the courier was great. He gave me a quick call before arriving, was polite at the door, and handled the box with care. The only reason I’m not giving full marks is because the tracking was a little slow to update, but the delivery itself was really smooth

"Got fixed eventually, but it took some chasing"
My delivery status just sat there without updating for days, which was frustrating. I messaged support and didn’t hear much at first, so I ended up having to contact them a second time. They did finally sort it out, and the package showed up fine in the end. Weirdly, I remember the tracking page still saying the same thing while I was eating a banana at my desk and checking it for like the fifth time. Overall, not amazing, but not a total disaster either.

In the end, I’d still say the app works, but it feels a bit clunky to use. I mainly use it for tracking, and sometimes that part is harder than it should be. It gets the job done, just not always in the most convenient way.

My package did show up in the end, so I’ll give them that, but the tracking on dhl.com was kind of a mess. One minute it said it was out for delivery, then it suddenly went back to processing, and after that there was no update for almost a whole day. I kept checking it while drinking my morning coffee, then again later after taking the trash out, and still nothing useful. I basically just had to wait around and hope it turned up. Not the worst experience ever, but the tracking info definitely needs to be more reliable

I’ve used DHL a few times now, mostly for sending parcels that I didn’t want sitting around for days, and overall it’s been a good experience. It’s not always the absolute cheapest option, but the deliveries have been quick and the tracking updates are really easy to follow. I especially like that I can see each step clearly, like when it’s collected, processed, and out for delivery. So far, everything has arrived on time and in good condition, so I feel like the price is fair for the service.

"Missed my delivery but it got sorted quickly"
I missed my delivery because I was at work, and I thought it was going to be a whole hassle. I went on dhl.com, picked a new delivery slot, and it was actually easy, straightforward. The driver came the next day and the package was all fine. Not much stress in the end really, so yeah, 5 stars from me.

“I was never ever happy with them. They tell you about delivering your package 1 hour before they arrive. Sometimes the driver says he is on the way but he arrives after 8 hours. They are literally useless”
